Description
FN-INK White is a low-cure plastisol white that is built for busy production shops. It lays down a bright, opaque white with a creamy feel, so you can clear the screen easily, hit coverage in fewer strokes, and keep jobs moving on cotton and poly-blend garments.
Key features
- Bright, opaque white for underbases and stand-alone white prints
- Low-cure plastisol, designed to reach full cure at lower temperatures when the entire ink layer hits cure temp
- Creamy, easy-printing consistency that shears cleanly through the screen
- Soft hand feel when printed correctly
- Great for manual and automatic presses
Recommended use cases
- Underbase white on dark shirts before printing colors
- Highlight white for extra pop on designs with white areas
- Everyday white prints on cotton and cotton-rich blends
- Shops looking to run lower dryer temps or increase dryer speed
Mesh counts and print tips
- Underbase prints on dark garments:
- Use lower mesh (around 110–135) for strong coverage
- Print, flash, then print again for a smooth, opaque base
- Highlight white or lighter garments:
- Use slightly higher mesh (around 156–200) for a softer hand
- Keep ink at a comfortable working temperature and stir before use to maintain a smooth, creamy flow
Curing guidelines
FN-INK White is a low-cure plastisol ink. It is designed to reach cure at a lower temperature than standard plastisols when the entire ink layer reaches cure temp. Always verify cure with a reliable method and perform wash tests, especially when adjusting your dryer speed or temperature.
- Use a proper probe or cure test method instead of relying only on surface readings
- Thicker deposits and underbase prints will need more dwell time in the dryer
- Running at lower cure temperatures can help reduce issues with dye migration on some polyester blends
