Refund policy
1. Overview
Press Doctor works with busy print shops that depend on accurate, on-time deliveries. If we make a mistake, we fix it. This policy explains how returns, replacements, and damaged shipments are handled.
2. Order Inspection & Shipping Damage
Inspect your order quickly

Please inspect all packages within 48 hours of delivery

Verify: product type, quantities, and visible damage
If something is wrong

If items are missing, incorrect, or damaged in transit, contact us within 5 days of delivery

We will ship the correct or replacement items using ground service at no cost to you

If you originally paid for expedited shipping and the error was ours, we will use an expedited method to correct it
Freight shipments (equipment, large items)

Inspect all crates and boxes before signing the delivery receipt or BOL
-
Note any visible damage on the delivery paperwork and take photos

If the driver leaves before you inspect and note damage, it may limit our ability to file a freight claim or replace damaged items
3. Return Eligibility & Timeframes
Standard return window

Most unused, resalable supply products can be returned within 5 days of delivery

Returns after 5 days, if accepted, may be eligible for store credit only
Condition of returned items

Items must be:

Unused and in original packaging
-
Free of ink, chemicals, tape, or shop residue
-
Complete with all parts and accessories
-

Used items may be accepted only with prior approval and may incur higher restocking fees
4. Items That Cannot Be Returned
The following items are not returnable except in cases of shipping error or damage:

Software, downloadable content, or digital products

Opened or used supplies
-
Custom or special-order items like certain parts or custom ink colors

Custom equipment configurations

Items clearly marked “Non-returnable” on the product page
5. Restocking Fees
To cover processing, inspection, and payment fees:

Most approved returns are subject to a standard 20% restocking fee

Depending on product type, condition, and purchase date, the restocking fee may be adjusted
Shipping costs

Original shipping charges are non-refundable

Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless:

The item was damaged in transit

You received the wrong item
-
We shipped the item in error
-
In those cases, we will arrange or reimburse reasonable return shipping.
6. How To Request a Return
Contact us within 5 days of delivery to request a return authorization.
Provide:

Shipping address

Order or invoice number

Item(s) you want to return

Reason for the return

Preferred outcome: refund, replacement, or exchange
If approved, we will issue a Return Authorization (RA) number and provide the correct return address.
Packaging your return

Write the RA number clearly on the outside of the box or on the return label

Pack items securely to avoid damage in transit

We are not responsible for returns that arrive damaged due to inadequate packaging
Once the return is received and inspected, we will process your refund, replacement, or store credit minus any applicable restocking fees.
